My works encompasses mixed medias installation, performances, painting, sculpture, mail art and web-based art projects.
I believe that art could be welcoming and embracing, such that I have been conducting virtual and real life projects involving audiences, the public, other artists and politicians as active participants.
Through planned interactivities, audiences/participants and I could interact, collaborate and experience the art projects collectively; physically, mentally and sometimes spiritually.
I believe artists do have the ability to make differences, and they are capable of creating works that are with significant social impacts.
I have been involved in socially and politically engaged projects. Such as, the Arti-Smoking project; an ongoing anti-tobacco campaign, which uses creative methods to enhance public awareness of danger of tobacco uses and the epidemic magnitude of deaths from tobacco smoking (over 5,000,000 a year globally), as well as gathering public support to fight the problem. www.geocities.com/artismoking
My current projects include a series of mixed medias artworks about Quanyin: The Goddess of Mercy & Compassion.
