blyssful PRODUCTIONS (originally lucid dreams productions) is a sassy, innovative, Vancouver based production company that pushes the boundaries, the edge, encouraging people to explore, discover and "reveal their edge" through our educational productions and workshops. We have a unique niche aesthetic unlike any other that has brought us local, regional, national and international acclaim. We seek to continue creating and disseminating our work with integrity and quality in both the national and international marketplace whilst teaching our clients to do the same.
The Bruno Verdi Company was founded in Switzerland in 1987. The company had previously existed in Montreal and its artistic activities date back to 1975. It regroups stage professionals, technicians and engineers that are looking to promote culture as a way of life, as a highly-refined and avant-garde form of art. The company has three major areas: music, dance and real-time hypermedia performance.
A Canadian art historian and interdisciplinary artist, Bruno Verdi makes abundant use of concepts from the visual arts world in which he was trained.
Butoh-A-Go-Go A Second Generation West Coast Butoh/Performance Company
An interdisciplinary performance group, heavily influenced by Butoh, incorporating elements of theatre, painting and vocalization.
Thomas Anfield and Kevin Bergsma perform emotionally complex pieces to their own soundscapes, subtly altering the perception of time and space.
Formed in the summer or 1999, they continue to add to their already substantial repertoire, exploring their own genre of Butoh/Performance Art.
