my work asks questions like where? and why?

Kate Armstrong

Kate Armstrong is a new media artist and writer who has lived and worked in Canada, France, Japan, Scotland, and
the United States. Her work focuses on the creation of experimental narrative forms, particularly works in which poetics are inserted within the functional framework of computer programs, and performative pieces in which computer functionality is merged with physical space. She has worked with a variety of forms including short films, theatre, essays, net art, performative network events, psychogeography and installation.

Kelly Lynne Wood

In Kelly Lynne Wood?s performances and site-specific installations she attempts to draw attention to a space in its inherently meaningful present state and also allow access to its enveloping past. In places often devoid of their past function, she recreates an atmosphere using a wide variety of mediums and performances determined by the site itself; often a presence is felt, a playful moment is discovered, a memory is evoked, an imagination is triggered, or a
twinge of nostalgia experienced.

Kinga Araya

My conceptual and interdisciplinary art works are concerned with the themes of walking (movement) and talking (communication). They relate to the formation of individual and societal "self." My sculptures, videos, drawings and performance artworks problematize the formation of the "self" that has been always already inscribed within a context of family, community, and nation. The dichotomy of personal vs. social, individual vs. collective, and aesthetic vs. everyday is important to me.
