Kristen Roos is an artist whose approach to creating sound art involves a translation, or change, from one state to another. Objects normally used to bring information in a particular way are repurposed, and reconstructed into new vibrating forms. These temporary structures hope to inspire infinite interpretations for the objects and spaces that make up the world around us.

Based in Vancouver, Canada, Radix has been producing innovative and exciting performance events since 1988. With a mandate to foster the creation and production of experimental, socially relevant, and original works of art, the company presents work in a variety of media, with a focus on interdisciplinary performance. Radix is also dedicated to an on-going investigation of collaborative models of the creative process, continuing to explore the vast potential offered by collective creation.

Raymond Furlotte is a figurative painter and photographer with a solid background as a colourist in the animated film and advertisement industries and as a craftsman.

The artist applies himself to imagining scenarios, surprising us by bringing together people, celebrities, animals and objects, sometimes genetically modified, which stray from the established order and which reflect a singular and original view of reality.

Roadside Attractions is an artist-run storefront art space created and maintained by the collective WeSee Inc.

The space is used for monthly, site-specific installations and other visual art projects that had its inaugural installation in June '07. Our philosophy in regard to providing this space is simple: we wanted to create a venue for artwork plainly visible to the public without advertisement clutter; artists should never have to pay a fee to show their work. We accept submissions for projects in all media with the provision that it is suited to the confines and ethos of the space.
