with the Canadian Art Foundation Youth Arts Bursary Program
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE–Wednesday, June 11, 2008, Toronto: The Canadian Art
Foundation invites applications from eligible art institutions across the
country for its 2008 Youth Arts Bursary Program.
The program awards a total of $20,000 in project grants to Canadian public
galleries and artist-run centres to fund innovative visual-arts education
initiatives for youths aged 5 to 18. A maximum of $7,500 is awarded to
each organization.
To date, the Youth Arts Bursary has been awarded to visual art institutions
and community organizations in Winnipeg, Windsor, Ottawa, Halifax, Toronto,
Vancouver and Kamloops.
